Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru) and the Komaru Koutsu Foundation (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) have received a letter of appreciation and presented by the Mr. Toshihisa Masachika, Director of the Traffic Department at the Hiroshima Prefectural Police Headquarters for the dissemination and edification activities for citizens through the donation of publicity and awareness goods in the event of the traffic safety street campaign.
We will continue our efforts to edify the citizens of prefecture by donating the publicity and awareness goods so that even one traffic accident will be reduced
Komaru Koutsu Foundation was founded on September 9th, 2013 to promote traffic safety awareness, hosting various traffic safety lectures in Elementary schools across Japan and carrying out educational activities to prevent traffic accidents. In addition, we support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by providing opportunities for students overseas studying Japanese to present the results of their studies and holding a Japanese composition speech contest to raise traffic safety awareness and promote cultural exchange with Japan.
