September 11th, 2023    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (President: Shigehiro Komaru) sponsored the 26th Komaru Cup Youth Judo Championship held on September 10 at the Fukuyama City Gymnasium with the support of Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru). This time, it was held as Hiroshima prefectural tournament for the first time and participated by approximately 260 students in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Since the first held in 1996, we have been supporting in the hopes of helping children nurture sound minds and learn etiquette, as well as promoting judo in the region.

We will continue to support Shibuya Ikueikai's commitment to leading youth development, promoting education and culture, and helping local communities' development.

Shibuya Ikueikai was established in June 1985 to support child education. Since then, the foundation has been working on a scholarship project for high school and university students, support for educational institutions, community groups that promote culture, local authorities that conduct healthy upbringing activities for youth, and children and students unable to attend school. Furthermore, to nurture rich sensibilities, we have invited elementary and junior high school students around Fukuyama City every year to hold concerts by the NHK Symphony Orchestra since 2013.
