August 2^th, 2024    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru) conducted a completion ceremony to install automatic sorting machines at the Chiba Yachiyo Branch on August 2nd.

Situated adjacent to National Route 16 connected to the main highways leading to the Tokyo metropolitan area, the Chiba Yachiyo Branch has served as a logistics hub for the entire Kanto Region since its opening in September 2023.
The newly installed machines will be capable of sorting 12,000 goods per hour by introducing a state-of-the-art cross-belt sorter equipped with a gravimetric conveyor and a four-stage telescopic conveyor. This upgrade will significantly increase work efficiency and reduce labor by lightening the employee workload.
