Tree-planting Ceremony
Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Fukuyama Transporting Komaru Environmental Foundation held a tree-planting ceremony at the newly built Ibaraki Goka Branch in Goka-machi Sashima-gun, Ibaraki Prefecture on June 24th. They planted saplings of "Fukuyama City of Roses" as part of their environmental conservation activities.

Donation of Japanese books to Islamic Science University of Malaysia Komaru Library
Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Komaru Koutsu Foundation held a Japanese book donation ceremony to Islamic Science University of Malaysia on May 18th. Since its opening in 2023, we have donated 45 Japanese books to support Japanese language education.

Donation of Japanese books to Vytautas Magnus University Komaru Library
Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Komaru Koutsu Foundation held a Japanese book donation ceremony to Vytautas Magnus University Komaru Library (the Republic of Lithuania) on May 8th. Since its opening in 2019, we have donated approximately 600 Japanese books to support Japanese language education.

Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and the Komaru Koutsu Foundation held a ceremony to donate Japanese books to the Komaru Library at Darma Persada University in the Republic of Indonesia on April 29th. Since its opening in 2017, the library received approximately 980 Japanese books through donations.

Mr. Shigehiro Komaru, President of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Lithuanian Exhibition Hall at the Honorary Consulate-General of the Republic of Lithuania in Fukuyama. The completion ceremony opened in attendance with the Ambassadors of three countries including H.E. Dr. Aurelijus Zykas, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Japan, and Mr. Naoki Edahiro, the Mayor of Fukuyama City.
