Donation of Japanese books to Darma Persada University Komaru Library
Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and the Komaru Koutsu Foundation held a ceremony to donate Japanese books to the Komaru Library at Darma Persada University in the Republic of Indonesia on December 14th. Since its opening in 2017, we have donated approximately 1,030 Japanese books to support Japanese language education.

The Komaru Koutsu Foundation held the 9th Japanese Composition Speech Contest at Darma Persada University on December 14th, accompanied by the guest of honor Mr. Daisuke Hoshino, Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia. The speech contest was organized with Fukuyama City University and PERSADA, with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. serving as a special sponsor.

Donation of Motorcycles for Disaster Relief Activities
The Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation , an organization related to Fukuyama Transporting Co. Ltd., donated two motorcycles to the Hiroshima Prefectural Police Headquarters on November 14th. This donation is intended to help police officers gather information during rescue operations and enhance their riding skills in preparation for large-scale disasters. This marks the second donation from the foundation, following a previous contribution of ten motorcycles for disaster relief activities in 2003.

Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and the Komaru Koutsu Foundation held a Japanese book donation ceremony to the Komaru Library at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City (the USSH, VNUHCM) on September 9th. Since its opening in 2020, we have donated approximately 270 Japanese books to support Japanese language education. The Komaru Library serves as a platform for mutual exchange between students, providing an opportunity for deepening understanding and strengthening friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.
