October 19^th, 2023    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru) and Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Komaru Koutsu Foundation (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) held a Japanese book donation ceremony to Vytautas Magnus University Komaru Library (the Republic of Lithuania) on October 13. The ceremony was held in the presence of H.E. Dr. Aurelijus Zykas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Japan, and H.E. Mr. Tetsu Ozaki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Lithuania.
Since the opening of the Komaru Library in 2019, we have donated approximately 600 Japanese books for Japanese language education.
Through the Komaru Library, we will continue to offer a good place for mutual exchange between students, further deepen understanding, and strengthen friendly relations between the Republic of Lithuania and Japan.
