December 10^th, 2021    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, President: Shigehiro Komaru) and the Fukuyama Transporting Komaru Environmental Foundation (Location: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) held a tree-planting ceremony on December 8th at the newly established Fukuoka Airport Distribution Center in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. Fukuyama Transporting Komaru Environmental Foundation planted rose saplings of "Fukuyama City of Roses" (Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture) as part of its environmental preservation activities.

The Fukuyama Transporting Komaru Environmental Foundation was established on November 20th, 2020 with the aim of contributing to the realization of a sustainable society by conducting projects related to environmental conservation and environmental education.

The Foundation will carry out activities related to environmental education, such as tree planting and other conservation activities in Japan and overseas, as well as environmental education in cooperation with universities and specialized institutions.

The Foundation will continue to aim for safe, secure, and sustainable growth, and actively work to contribute to local communities and address environmental issues.
