(Headquarter: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President & C.E.O : Shigehiro Komaru; shortened as Fukuyama Transporting) and Komaru-Koutsu Foundation (Chief Director: Noriyuki Komaru, Chairman and C.E.O. of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd.) co-hosted traffic safety classes at Sagisu Municipal Elementary School, Osaka.
In order to promote traffic safety awareness, Fukuyama Transporting established the Komaru-Koutsu Foundation in September 9th, 2013. Since the emancipation, the foundation has conducted traffic safety classes to a cumulative total of 2,562 elementary school students in Fukushima City (Hiroshima), Koto Ward (Tokyo), and Osaka City (Osaka). The curriculum shed light on topics related to traffic rules, such as the blind spots of a large vehicle. Furthermore, during the traffic safety promotions conducted during the spring and fall seasons, the foundation hands out pamphlets related to accident prevention to work/school commuters on the street.
The aforementioned traffic safety class is conducted as part of the foundation's campaigns, and is the first of ten events planned targeted to Elementary school students.
