Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and the Komaru Koutsu Foundation held gTraffic Accident-Free Campaignh on September 29 in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Chairman: Shigehiro Komaru) and the Komaru Koutsu Foundation (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) held gTraffic Accident-Free (Jiko-Nashi) Campaignh on September 29 in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. This event was organized as part of the national Autumn Traffic Safety Campaign, in cooperation with the Hiroshima Prefectural Fukuyama Higashi Police Station and Fukuyama Higashi Traffic Safety Association. It marks the ninth time the campaign has been held in Fukuyama City.
The Autumn Traffic Safety Campaign aims to raise public awareness of traffic safety, promote compliance with traffic laws, and encourage responsible road behavior to help prevent accidents. Approximately 60 participants, including members of local neighborhood associations, took part in the campaign. Participants distributed 200 pears and traffic safety promotional items to drivers, hoping to create a community free from traffic accidents.
To help reduce traffic accidents, we will continue to work closely with the police and local authorities to advance traffic safety education and raise public awareness.
Established on September 9, 2013, the Komaru Koutsu Foundation is dedicated to promoting traffic safety through educational activities, including lectures in schools throughout Japan. The foundation also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by offering opportunities for international students studying Japanese to showcase their learning. It organizes Japanese composition speech contests focused on traffic safety, fostering both awareness and cultural exchange.
