July 31^th, 2024    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (President: Shigehiro Komaru) sponsored "Shibuya Ikueikai NHK Symphony Orchestra Mini-Concert,” a string quartet performance by members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. The concert was organized by Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Shibuya Ikueikai (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) and held at the auditorium of Fukuyama Akenohoshi Girls’ Junior and Senior High School in Hiroshima Prefecture on July 30th.

For the 6th concert, Shibuya Ikueikai invited approximately 150 students and parents from Fukuyama Akenohoshi Girls’ Junior and Senior High School. Alongside members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, five students performed the school song. The concert was filled with a harmonious atmosphere and offered great opportunities to feel close to the music with the help of familiar songs and the clear explanation of instruments.

We will continue to support Shibuya Ikueikai in its endeavors to guide youth development, promote education and culture, and contribute to the development of local communities.

Established in June 1985, Shibuya Ikueikai focuses on supporting child education and has been involved in various projects to enhance the lives of individuals and communities. These initiatives include providing scholarships for high school and university students, supporting educational institutions, and community groups that engage in cultural and youth development activities. Additionally, the foundation supports children and students who cannot attend school.
