July 30^th, 2024    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (President: Shigehiro Komaru) sponsored the "The 10th Shibuya Ikueikai NHK Symphony Orchestra Concert", organized by Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Shibuya Ikueikai (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) and held at Fukuyama Hall of Art & Culture Reed & Rose on July 29th.

This concert commemorates the 120th anniversary of the late Honorary Chairman Noboru Shibuya’s birth and invited approximately 1,500 elementary and junior high school students from Fukuyama City. Since its initial host in 2013, the concert has welcomed around 10,600 elementary and junior high school students to help nurture their rich sensibilities and support their growth. We are dedicated to supporting Shibuya Ikueikai in its endeavors to guide youth development, promote education and culture, and contribute to the development of local communities.

The Shibuya Ikueikai was established in June 1985 to support child education. Since then, the foundation has been working on various projects to improve the lives of individuals and communities. These include providing scholarships for high school and university students, supporting educational institutions, and community groups that conduct cultural and healthy upbringing activities for youth. The foundation also extends support to children and students unable to attend school.
