July 26^th, 2022    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (President: Shigehiro Komaru) sponsored the 8th Shibuya Ikueikai NHK Symphony Orchestra Concert performed by NHK Symphony Orchestra. The concert was organized by the Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) at the Fukuyama Hall of Arts and Culture Reed & Rose on July 25th.

Approximately 800 primary and junior high school students from Fukuyama city were invited to this concert, which was held for the first time in three years due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection.

Since the concert was first held in 2013, approximately 8,400 primary and junior high school students have been invited in the hope that they will develop a rich sensitivity.

We will continue to endorse and support Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation commitment to the development of youth, the promotion of education and culture, and the development of the local communities.

The Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation was established in June 1985 by the late Honorary Chairman Noboru Shibuya, founder of Fukuyama Transporting, to support the education of children who bear the future. Since then, the Foundation has lent scholarships to high school and university students, supported educational institutions, local organizations that promote culture and the healthy development of youth, and handled the issue of truant children.
