July 28^th, 2023    Minami Kyushu Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture; President: Takahiro Ozaki), a group company of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru), concluded a "Cooperation Agreement in Transportation and Operation of Goods in the Event of a Disaster" with Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture on July 27. The Mayor of Satsumasendai City, Mr. Ryoji Tanaka, and President Ozaki signed the agreement at Satsumasendai City Hall.
This agreement aims to establish an effective and prompt cooperative system in the event of a disaster and to strengthen disaster response capabilities of transporting relief supplies to evacuation centers, assisting supply base facilities operations, and providing our facilities as an emergency evacuation site.
As a designated public institution, the Fukuyama Transporting Group has been engaged in disaster relief activities by primarily supporting goods transportation. We will continue to contribute to the safety and security of the local community and fulfill its social responsibility as a trucking firm.
