(Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru), is pleased to announce that it has concluded a share transfer agreement of acquiring 60% issued shares of Renown Transport Co., Ltd. on March 22nd. Renown Transport specializes in freight forwarding services in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Fukuyama Transporting has been actively working to expand its forwarding business, particularly in the ASEAN region, where economic growth is expected to continue and demand for international logistics is rising. Renown Transport Co., Ltd. aims to strengthen its relationships with Japanese companies and expand its global network. This acquisition became possible due to the alignment of the growth strategies of both companies.

Through this acquisition, we expect to achieve synergistic effects from the collaboration between Renown Transport Co., Ltd., which specializes in forwarding operations, and FUKUYAMA GRAND LOGISTICS Co., Ltd., known for its expertise in customs clearance, acquired by Fukuyama Transporting in 2023. This partnership will not only enhance transportation efficiency and reduce costs but will also expand the range of logistics services offered by the Group, allowing us to provide optimal logistics solutions tailored to our customer's needs.
