July 28^th, 2022    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (President: Shigehiro Komaru) sponsored the "Shibuya Ikueikai NHK Symphony Orchestra Mini Concert", a string quartet performance by members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. The concert was organized by the Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) at the auditorium of Fukuyama Akenohoshi Girls' Junior and Senior High School (Hiroshima Prefecture) on July 26th.

This concert, the fourth of its kind, invited approximately 130 students and parents from Fukuyama Akenohoshi Girls' Junior and Senior High School, and was held for the first time in three years due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection. We will continue to endorse and support Shibuya Ikueikai's commitment to the development of youth, the promotion of education and culture, and the development of local communities.

The Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation was established in June 1985 by the late Honorary Chairman Noboru Shibuya, founder of Fukuyama Transporting, to support the education of children who bear the future. Since then, the Foundation has lent scholarships to high school and university students, supported educational institutions, local organizations that promote culture and the healthy development of youth, and handled the issue of truant children.
