Founded on September 9th, 2013, the Komaru-Koutsu Foundation aims for a safe and secure local community without traffic accidents. Since establishment, we have been carrying out traffic safety activities which include holding traffic safety classes at elementary schools throughout the country, distributing leaflets to prevent traffic accidents at intersections where traffic accidents occur frequently, and so forth.

Main Activities

The Komaru-Koutsu Foundation holds regular safety classes for elementary schools, conducts traffic accident prevention educational activities for the elderly, and implements traffic safety awareness street campaigns.

Transportation facilitation and other projects

As a measure to thoroughly inform people of contested traffic for efficient and punctual transportation, we created the Komaru-Koutsu Foundation proprietary leaflets. Looking towards the future, we will prepare materials to be distributed nationwide as a traffic facilitation support project.

Sales promotion and traffic safety supplies etc.

We distribute traffic safety supplies at events and other occasions (supplies including reflective materials and portable LED lights)

Traffic safety business overseas

For the purpose of improving traffic safety awareness and cultural exchange, we conduct a traffic safety Japanese composition speech contest abroad. Beginning in Shanghai of China in 2014, we now regularly hold contests in the following areas: Guizhou, China, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
