Job Responsibilities:

Fukuyama Transporting, one of Japan's largest logistics companies, welcomes bilingual students who are interested in learning more about the world of transportation and logistics in Japan and throughout Asia. Duties include learning about the dispatching of trucks, the management of logistics warehouses and the general operation of a publicly listed logistics giant. Areas you can assist in include:

1. Cost reductions, management of trucks
2. Business Improvement and trouble-shooting
3. Creating a strategy to dispatch trucks from around the 400 branches in Japan to meet customer delivery needs
4. Analyzing recent data to find patterns and assess the results
5. Brainstorming ways to become more productive
6. Communicating with various stations around Japan

We are looking for students who want to learn more about how a traditional Japanese company is operated, business etiquette and the many processes of running a 20,000 employee international logistics company. Students who are dependable, on-time, professional and appreciate Japanese culture are welcome to apply for this opportunity that can lead you into one of the fastest growing business sectors in the world. Internships are for Japanese speaking students currently residing in Japan.
