July 26^th, 2023    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (President: Shigehiro Komaru) sponsored the "The 9th Shibuya Ikueikai NHK Symphony Orchestra Concert", organized by Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Shibuya Ikueikai (Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) and held at Fukuyama Hall of Art & Culture Reed & Rose on July 25.

For this year's concert, Shibuya Ikueikai invited approximately 1,500 elementary and junior high school students across Fukuyama City and 250 citizens. Inviting the public was for the first time in 4 years. Since the initial host in 2013, they have invited approximately 9,200 elementary and junior high school students to the concert with the thought that to nurture their rich sensibilities. We will continue to support Shibuya Ikueikai's commitment to leading youth development, promoting education and culture, and helping local communities' development.

Shibuya Ikueikai was established in June 1985 by the late Honorary Chairman Noboru Shibuya, founder of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., to support child education. Since then, the foundation has been working on a scholarship project for high school and university students, support for educational institutions, community groups that promote culture, local authorities that conduct healthy upbringing activities for youth, and children and students unable to attend school.
