December 19^th, 2022    Koushinetsu Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture; President: Masayuki Yagino), a group company of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru), concluded a "Cooperation Agreement in Transportation and Operation of Goods in the Event of a Disaster" with Iiyama City (Nagono Prefecture) on December 8th. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Iiyama City, Mr. Kishio Ezawa, and President Yagino.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish a solid foundation of an effective and prompt cooperative system in the event of a disaster and strengthen disaster response capabilities by transporting relief supplies to evacuation centers, assisting in the operation of supply base facilities, and providing our facilities as an emergency evacuation site.
The Fukuyama Transporting Group, a designated public institution, is engaged in support activities primarily on transporting goods in times of disaster. We will continue to contribute to the safety and security of the local community and fulfill its social responsibility as a truck fleet operator.
