The Entrance Ceremony for Vietnamese Technical Interns

Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. held an initiation ceremony for Vietnamese technical trainees on January 15, 2025, welcoming 10 new members as the 6th batch of trainees.



January 16th, 2025    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru) held an entrance ceremony for its sixth intake of 10 Vietnamese technical interns on January 15th at its head office in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The ceremony was attended by President Komaru, along with other executives and managers from the head office.

The company currently has 37 Vietnamese technical interns engaged in daily checkups, inspections, and various maintenance works for vehicles to acquire skills in fleet maintenance.

Fukuyama Transporting has launched a driver training program in Vietnam to tackle the significant labor shortage in the logistics industry, particularly following the recent revision that categorizes automobile driving as a specified skill. Through this initiative, the company aims to support young Vietnamese in their twenties by helping them obtain licenses for large vehicles and providing comprehensive driver training.
