Jakarta, Indonesia - December 7^th, 2019    Komaru Kotsu Foundation(President: Mr. Shigehiro Komaru, also Chairman and C.E.O of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd.), Hiroshima University and Darma Persada University as a co-sponsor held the 4th Japanese Speech Contest at Dalmapurusada University in Jarkarta.
Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. is a special sponsor for this contest.

This Contest has been held in Jakarta since 2016 and this is the fourth time.There were 122 applicants on the theme of "Transporting" and the excellent 10 persons among them gave speeches. The best award is "Despite the prohibition of minority driving by law, it is going on in Indonesia and the surroundings also tolerate it. If there is a minority driving persons in your family or friends, I want you to call for attention" which gave a speech by Ms. Lizka Ramadani of Darma Persada University, who was awarded by Mr. Shigehiro Komaru, President of Komaru Kotsu Foundation.
As a guest, Mr. Masafumi Ishi, Ambassador of the Japanese Embassy in Indonesia, Mr. Yoshichika Honda, Professor of Morito Institute of Global Higher Education as a sponsorship and Mr. Tori Marjoko, President of Darma Persada University, etc. were attended.

Komaru Koutsu Foundation was founded on September 9th, 2013 to promote traffic safety awareness, hosting various traffic safety lectures in Elementary, Junior High and High schools across Japan, as well as handing out traffic accident prevention leaflets on the street. Furthermore, a Japanese composition speech contest is being held in oversea to provide opportunities for presenting Japanese language education, experience cultural exchange and spreads awareness of traffic safety.
Other than Jarkarta, the Japanese Speech Contest is also held in Kaunas in Lithuania, Shanghai, Guizhou, Beijing (*) in China and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam. In this year of 2019, there will be the fifth event after Ho Chi Minh, Lithuania, Guizhou and Beijing.
