Beijing, China - November 27th, 2019    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Headquarter: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru) and Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation and Komaru Koutsu Foundation (Location: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Chief Director: Shigehiro Komaru) are the special sponsor for this event which is sponsorship by Hiroshima University and Capital Normal University, Beijing.

This year's speech was delivered by five excellent people who passed through a pre-judging on a theme called "Eternal Neighboring Country, a new start from Reiwa". The best award was the speech about " I'm interested in Japan and have been studying Japanese, but I failed a nationally-funded study abroad exam and when I tried to give up to keep on study Japanese because of the fact, my father and grandfather, who opposed to studying Japanese came to understand me as I worked hard day and night and I decided to continue again" which gave speech by Miss Li Yang Jie who is the student of Tianjin University of Science & Technology.
In addition, Mr. Isao Iijima, a cabinet member and Mr. Naohiro Tsutsumi, ambassador of the Japanese Embassy in the People's Republic of China, attended as guests.

The purposes of Japanese speech contests of oversea which was held in 2006 in Beijing, China is to provide opportunities for presenting Japanese language education, experience cultural exchange and spreads awareness of traffic safety. In China, other than Beijing, the Japanese Speech Contest is also held in Shanghai, Guizhou, Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, Jakarta in Indonesia, and Kaunas in Lithuania. In this year of 2019, there will be the fourth event after Ho Chi Minh, Lithuania and Guizhou.
