On July 14^th, 2020    Mr. Shigehiro Komaru who is C.E.O of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and also President of Public Interest Incorporated Komaru Kotsu Foundation, shortened as Komaru Kotsu Foundation donated 370 traffic safety textbooks about "Develop a Safety Mind and Learn" to the new students of the first grade of 15 elementary schools in Kasaoka City and the Kasaoka City Board of Education at Kasaoka City Hall. This is the third donation of textbooks to Kasaoka City. A letter of appreciation for activities to raise children's awareness of traffic safety and realize a community without traffic accidents was given by Mr. Yoshifumi Kobayashi, Mayor of Kasaoka City.
This textbook provides children with easy-to-understand instructions on how to safely cross roads and how to ride bicycles and provides parents with information on how to educate children about traffic safety.

The Komaru Kotsu Foundation was founded on September 9, 2013, with the aim of disseminating and enlightening traffic safety ideas. It holds traffic safety classes centered on elementary schools nationwide and conducts traffic accident prevention awareness activities. In addition, we provide opportunities for students who study Japanese overseas to present their learning outcomes and held a Japanese speech contest with the aim of raising awareness of traffic safety and promoting cultural exchange with Japan.
