The presentation of "Crossing pedestrian priority! Carp Boy collaboration signboard"

A traffic safety class was held under the guidance of the Fukuyama East Police Station to raise awareness of pedestrian priority on pedestrian crossings.



October 21th, 2020    The Komaru-Koutsu Foundation (Chairman: Shigehiro Komaru, President of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd.) presented "Crossing pedestrian priority! Carp Boy collaboration signboard" to the incorporated school of Nozomi Gakuen Tenshi Kindergarten in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture on November 20th.

After the presentation ceremony, a traffic safety class was held under the guidance of the Fukuyama East Police Station to raise awareness of pedestrian priority on pedestrian crossings.
In addition, signboards will be distributed to kindergartens, nursery schools, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools and public halls (about 166 places) in Fukuyama City.

Komaru Koutsu Foundation was founded on September 9th, 2013 to promote traffic safety awareness, hosting various traffic safety lectures in Elementary schools across Japan, as well as handing out traffic accident prevention leaflets on the street. Furthermore, a Japanese composition speech contest is being held in oversea to provide opportunities for presenting Japanese language education, experience cultural exchange and spreads awareness of traffic safety.
