February 10^th, 2023    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru) concluded a "Cooperation Agreement in Transportation and Operation of Goods in the Event of a Disaster" with Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture on February 6. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Hiroshima City, Mr. Kazumi Matsui, and the Senior Managing Director, Hiroshi Eto.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish an effective and prompt cooperative system in the event of a disaster and to strengthen disaster response capabilities by transporting relief supplies to evacuation centers, assisting in the operation of supply base facilities, and providing our facilities as an emergency evacuation site.
As a designated public institution, the Fukuyama Transporting Group is engaging in disaster relief activities by primarily supporting goods transportation. We will continue to contribute to the safety and security of the local community and fulfill its social responsibility as a trucking firm.
