Agreement with Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, on Cooperation in the Transport and Management of Goods in the Event of a Disaster

An 'agreement on Cooperation in Transporting Goods and Other Operations in the Event of Disaster' with Fukuyama City (Hiroshima Prefecture) on 26 July, and the agreement was signed by Fukuyama Mayor Mr. Naoki Edahiro and Shigehiro Komaru.



July 27th, 2022    Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru) concluded an 'Agreement on Cooperation in Transporting Goods and Other Operations in the Event of Disaster' with Fukuyama City (Hiroshima Prefecture) on 26 July, and the agreement was signed by Fukuyama Mayor Mr. Naoki Edahiro and Shigehiro Komaru.

The aim of the agreement is to build an effective and speedy cooperation system in the event of a disaster, and to strengthen disaster response capabilities by transporting relief supplies to evacuation centers, assisting in the operation of supply base facilities, and providing our facilities as emergency evacuation centers.

The Fukuyama Transporting Group, as a designated public institution, is engaged in support activities centered on the transport of goods in times of disaster, and will continue to contribute to the safety and security of the region and fulfil its social responsibility as a truck operator.
